Demographics:

Bicyclecoach.com users are unique from the users of all other cycling web sites, because nearly all of our users are striving to improve their cycling performance.  In addition, the users are fitness conscious, very affluent, and spend significant sums of money on cycling items.

Here are results of the demographic statistics to our survey conducted December 2001:

- 98% are trying to improve their cycling performance.
- 64% are between the ages of 19 and 39.
- 59% spend more than $2,500 per year on cycling related items.
- 16% spend more than $4,000 per year on cycling items.
- 68% have a household income of more than $45,000 per year.
- 41% have an income of more than $60,000 per year.
- 16% have an income of more than $105,000 per year.

Ad Formats and Specifications:

Bicyclecoach.com offers two advertising formats: banners and boxes.  The positions and basic specifications of the banners and boxes are listed at the top and right column of this page.  No shockwave or flash files are allowed, but animated gifs are acceptable and encouraged within the maximum file size.  Ads cannot be served from a third party at this time.

At this time, BicycleCoach.com offers dedicated ad space groups for purchase. Each ad space group consists of several pages within the site, so that the advertiser's ad box or banner is served every time a page of the purchased group is viewed. For example, if the search and coach profiles group is purchased, the advertiser's banner ad is served each time a search/browse page or coach profile page is viewed. Also, bicyclecoach.com offers dedicated space (only one ad is served to a particular location on a particular page), and shared ad space (more than one ad is served in random sequence to a particular location on a particular page).
